Welcome to the Southwest Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (SWCCDC) website. The SWCCDC will be conducted at Texas A&M University-San Antonio on March 9-10, 2013. The competition is hosted by Texas A&M University-San Antonio, San Antonio College, and St. Philip's College. The qualifier rounds are done, time to prepare for regional finals!!!
While we had planned to bring only eight teams to San Antonio in March, we didn't account for holding the qualifier on a full moon. We ended up with a tie. The following nine teams have advanced to the regional final in San Antonio:
The competition was ferocious, with a highly capable red team and white team assisting in reducing the field of competitors. We'd like to thank all the volunteers who helped and especially the Midwest CCDC support staff of CSSIA who hosted our virtual qualifier. We'd also like to thank the other teams who competed in the qualifying round who are listed below. They too should be recognized for a job well done. It was clear from the competition that all of them wer capable and well prepared. We look forward to hosting them at next years regional competition.
